NOLAN

Researching my 3 GGF from Kilcumreragh - BERNARD NOLAN (b. abt 1821) 

Married Rose Buckley also of Kilcumreragh 25 May 1841 in Tubber/Rosemount

Last known information on this family is 1835 Census for Bernard's parents John & Mary Nolan. 

SIblings John, Michael, Francis, Jude/Juge?, David and Bridget Nolan.

Bernard & Rose Buckley had 5 children: John, Michael, Peter, Ellen (1845) and Ellen (1847) all baptized in Tubber/ Rosemount.

Rose Buckley Nolan later emigrated to New York, USA in 1852 and remarried a few years later while in the US. 

I believe Bernard died in Ireland around 1851-2 prompting Rose to leave with her sons but this is merely speculation as I cannot find any record of Bernard in the US.

Any assistance with possible information on this Nolan family is greatly appreciated.

Visited Ireland last week and actually met some of my Buckley family while in Westmeath! Hope to be able to solve the mystery of my Nolan line next.
