Blanchfield Edward (Convict to Australia)

Hello Victorsen,

I went to www.rootsireland.ie and looked for edward blanchfield in the Waterford records.  I left out the date which is sometimes better.

I found one baptismal record for edward blanchfiel in Carrick on Suir in 1838.

I know this is not your direct ancestor but the Blanchfield name is so rare that it's just possible that this person is related somehow.  Try going online and see it there are graveyard transcriptions for the Carrick on Suir town.
