I have Thomas Duff (b 1873) of Borrisoleigh married to Bridget Kinirons (b 1873) of Toomevara - daughter of John Kinirons and Mary Butler - in NY in 1901. His parents were Michael Duff and Kate Ryan. Several of the Duff siblings, like their Kinirons neighbours, emigrated to the US in the 1880s to early 1900s. The remaining Duff family appear in the 1901 Census in Main St Latteragh and I wonder whether there are any Duff or Kinirons connections or gravestones in local cemeteries. Any help appreciated. Liam

I appreciate any help. The Duff family came from Borrisoleigh while the Kinirons family lived in Toomevara.

John Kinirons (1838-1905) married Mary Butler (1845-1912) in Grennanstown RC church in 1868 and her family came from Templederry - her parents were Thomas Butler and Bridget Hayes. She may have had a twin Patrick.

Thomas Duff (1873-1948) married Bridget Kinirons (1873-1959) in New York in 1901. His parents were Michael Duff and Kate Ryan. Thomas was one of at least 8 children all born in Borrisoleigh.
