I am searching for a birth record and parents for Anna or Hanna Harney born about 1828 in Tipperary. I hold census records from wales where she had moved and married a John Bishop the records state she was from Tipperary but I cannot trace anything else. Can anyone help or advise where I can obtain any information about her family?

If you log onto Irish family history foundation , you might find your ancestor. This site caan be trawled through and they only charge for the record u want to see. I found an Anna Barney b.1826 in co.Waterford in a place called Kill. Its possible that she may have been born in Waterford and .lived in Tipperary. I think it would cost about 6 euros to view that record.I typed Anna harney into the home page and it just gave one birth record in that timeframe for all Ireland...
Parish records only started around that time so you'd be lucky if you found a marriage record for her parents.
Start with a broad search and gradually add more info.Its worth getting to know the ifhf website as they have most b m d records and you can cross reference a lot before you have to pay to open records.
