Seeking to contact descendants of Thomas Lynam and Bridget Carroll, from Barnalisheen.

Thomas was born in Roscommon in 1831, but moved to Barnalisheen, possibly to take up a tenency with the Earl of Carrick, or when married, about 1859. He died sometime, at  Barnalisheen between 1876, when he signed a lease for land, & approximately 1884, when his second son John Joseph left home.

"Tenant of Earl of CarrickHouse and Land5 acres 1 rod 18 perchNet annual values: land 3 .10. 0; house 0.15.0; Total: 4.5.0"This property is believed to include House No. 17.

Bridgett Carroll was born in Newry, Antrim in 1837, & died in 1919 at Barnalisheen. Bridget & her son Thomas were living in House 17 as listed in the 1901 & 1911 census.

I am coming back to Ireland in September for one month, and am very interested in contacting members of the Lynam Family prior to my visit, and, of course, am even more interested in meeting up with family members, and anyone esle who can help me learn more about this branch of my Irish family - I have more branches in Ireland, but will post them on the appropriate county pages.
