I am searching for any information on Cornelius Bowen born 1840 and came to Australia on the ship 'Alfred' in 1857. His parents were deceased when he sailed to Australia. His parents were Edmund Bowen and Norah Irwin. I have done an extensive search through the Tipperary Family History Research which did not turn up anything. Hoping someone may have some information.

I found Connor Bowen rented land in Killough Templemore in Tithe applotments valuation 1825. Conor / Connor is the irish version of Cornelius.
Connor and Edward Bowen rented 56 acres in Killough in 1850 Griffith Valuation www.askaboutireland.ie
and had houses to let to presumably workers on the farm.
