Thank you for sending the info.  It is most appreciated.  I believe my line does not descend from Colonel Henry Prittie though I do think he and his line are relatives. My main interest is in Richard Prittie who was born about 1754 or so. He is my ggg grandfather. I found a marriage record for one Richard Prittie and Ann Prior in the the diocese of Cashel and Emly for the year 1783 which may be my ancestor.  Richard's son Oliver's first born son and daughter were named Anne and Richard in keeping with naming traditions I suspect.   It also appears that there were other Prittie families in the district of Killaloe.  One was Adam from Mucklin who immigrated to Canada about 1819.  Others stayed in the area and have found a few records for them but no real connection to Richard other than name. Records also have been found to note quite a few Prittie's leaving during the time of famin coming from County Tipperary.  It is this area of County Tipperary that I hope to find anything concerning my line of Prittie.  Do you know of any early Anglican records in this area to have survived? Who would I contact for this information?  Anything before 1800 and up to 1832 would be wonderful.

To note,  I did find a Henry Pritty on the muster rolls of County Down in 1622 for the estate of Vinterstown (now Bellagy). It is possible that he is the first Pritty to live in Ireland (Plantation of Ulster) and it is possible that he may be Col. Henry's father.  Henry Pritty was again found on the same muster rolls in 1630 and also found in the Index of Wills 1384-1858 as having a will probated in 1631.  A William Pritty was also found on the Heath Moneyrolls for No. Ultster in 1663 as living in Ardkill, Londonderry(now Derry). William might be a brother to Col. Henry.  I have found nothing after that for the Prittie's other than Colonel Henry's info until I came across some baptisms in Limerick,Limerick.  The earliest was an Oliver who was baptised at St. Johns, Limerick on 9 Dec 1708 and his father's name is John. The next one would be Oliver who had a son, John, baptized 17 Sep 1732 at St. Mary's in Limerick. I found other baptisms for this particular Oliver but none were with the name Richard. Limerick connections may be possible with my line and hope to find other records. Do you know of any muster rolls of Cromwells's army in Limerick that survived?  In any case, it shows there were other Prittie's living around the time of Colonel Henry and later.  His line is farily well documented and have found no direct connections to him with these other Prittie's.
