I checked the 1901 and 1911 census records for Chamberlainstown townland in Co. Tipperary and did not find your family. There was a David Neill/O'Neill family in the townland. Any other clues?

A birth in Chamberlainstown, Co Tip should have been registered in Cashel. I searched for the birth of a James O’Neill 1881 +/-1 year in Cashel but did not find one.

On www.irishgenealogy.ie there is a birth for James Neill 20 Sept 1880 , Chamberlainstown, Cahir,  to a David Neill and Catherine English .
