Hi Everyone,

Trying to explore what happned to a "Johanna Madden" born about 1890. She appears in the Ireland Census of 1901 & 1911 as grandaughter to a Richard Hennessey (1835-?) & Joanna Corr (1833-?). Richard & Joanna were living in at house 24 in Ballypatrick (Kilcash, Tipperary). Johanna's mother may have been Margaret Hennessey (1869-?)

A lot of the Hennessey went to USA and a couple to Australia.

I have married a descendant of an Australian Hennessey

If you have any information on the Hennessey & you would like t share I would be greatly appreciative.

Thanks

Mario

  • Mario:

I located a civil marriage record that occurred about a month after the census was taken.

    See second record  https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/marriage_re…
