Just to add a small piece of information to your research on your Kelly/Moloughney ancestors, Cornelius Kelly was mentioned in Griffith's Vauation of property c. 1850 as renting 6 and a half acres of land from the Pennefather family living in nearby Ballyowen House. Fussough was the name of the townland and a Moloughney family lived there till recently. The name has changed due to marriage.

Thanks Paddy I had found him in the Griffith's Valuation and also in 1851 
"Notice of the sale of RENTAL of PORTIONS OF THE UNSETTLED ESTATES of MATHEW PENNEFATHER, ESQ., situate in the County of Tipperary To Be SOLD BY AUCTION"

In this document he is mentioned as the 'Late Cornelius Kelly' 
His land being classed as 'Yearly Tenancy, terminable 1st November in each year'.

I hadn't really known where to start looking for my Moloughney family, so thanks for that information.

I was recently pointed to a document called Moloughney's of Ireland, assembled and issued by Bill Moloughney in 2001.

Would anyone know of Bill?

He states in the document  'The Moloughneys remaining in Ireland are all related - but it is impossible to pinpoint 
the degree of relationship. The existence of the Penal Laws precluded the availability of any  documentation that would help, and oral history does not go back far enough to determine the point at which each Moloughney line had an ancestor in common.'

So far I have only come across one other person (lives in US) researching Moloughney's from the same area as me.

Kerryn, I am researching the Moloughney's of Tipperary.  Michael Moloughney born 1809 (I don't know which Parish) married Ellen Murphy in 1834 in Urra Hill, Tipperary.  They and their children sailed to Ontario, Canada.  I am trying to find more information on Michael.  Bill Moloughney died in 2012, and he is my Mother's first cousin.  I have his books, so if you need any information, please let me know.  Kelly is another family name that is common in the area the Moloughney's lived, in Fallowfield, Ontario

My apologies as well for taking so long to notice your post from several years back. You mentioned the baptism of Alice Kelly in 1834 at Dualla, Parish of Boherlarhan and Judith Dwyer as a 'stand-in' sponsor. I believe this Judith Dwyer is nee Judith Murphy who married Thomas Dwyer on 1 May 1828 at Dualla, Parish of Boherlahan. I'm a USA descendent of this couple.

Interestingly, their first born son, Patrick Dwyer immigrated to NSW on the Ship Northern Light in 1858. He married a Janet Jonna Jessie Kelly on 15 Jan 1865 in Carcoar, NSW. They settled in Cowra and he died there in 1917 and she in 1940.
