Michael Ryan and Margaret Tynan of Mealiffe (Moyaliffe).

I am reposting this from the Holycross records to Ballycahill although I know they are connected.  Someone might search here and find this.  

Michael Ryan and Margaret Tynan are showing in Ballycahill records as having a number of children baptised in the church.  Some were born before the records start.

I would really appreciate any assistance anyone can offer about the other members of this family.  I have hit a wall with my research.  My husband and I had the rather spooky experience of visiting the Moyaliffe cemetery when staying in 2014.  I spent two hours photographing the cemetery and river without knowing my people were most likely buried there - and didn't think to look for them amongst the graves!  

With the publication of the Catholic baptisms I was very excited to find a townland (Mealiffe) for my Ryan/Tynan ancestors, Michael Ryan and Margaret Tynan.  Their daughter, my GGG grandmother, was Bridget Catherine Ryan, who was born before the records start as was another brother Thomas Michael Ryan (who emigrated to Australia).  She was born around 1832 and he was born about 1828.  Fortunately other siblings made it into the records.

I am hoping to find any information at all about the other members of the family.  My GGG grandmother travelled to Australia and married in Melbourne in 1857 to Lawrence O'Rourke (from Clonmel) but I cannot find when she travelled or who she came with.  Possibly she went with her brother Thomas, and possibly even the rest of the family went with her but I cannot tell.    I know that Michael appears in the Griffiths valuations.  There were Tynan families in Newton and Ballymoney I think but I cannot find where they went or if they remained.  There is a John Ryan and wife Anne with children including the eldest son, Michael, and the eldest daughter, Margaret, showing in the 1901 and 1911 census for Moyaliffe - who are possible descendants.  I have been unable to track them further but they are number 14 house on the records.  

My GGG grandparents travelled from Melbourne to Dunedin, Otago, NZ and raised their family there.  I am from Christchurch, New Zealand.

I am returning to the area in 2017 and would very much like to find where my people lived.  I will go through the house records in Dublin first in the hope something can be revealed. Any clues at all would be very appreciated.  Does anyone know of Ryans living in the Moyaliffe area, or particularly what became of household 14?
