I am stuck right now with my family history that is in Ireland. I thought I only had one line that went into Ireland but have since found out that I have several. I could use any help, tips or advice on where to look and what to do to further my research. I have tried rootsireland.ie, findmypast.com, and I use ancestry.com regularly. Here are the names I'm trying to get further with:

1. Mary Curly (3rd great grandmother) born 1838 Sligo died in Scotland. I would love to get her birth record or christening record so that I could confirm her birthdate and also find more information about her parents. I would also like to find out if she had siblings.

2. Thomas Curly (Mary's father) born 25 Oct. 1814 Sligo I got this information from his death record. He died in Scotland. I would like to see his birth record, christening record or marriage record to find out more information about his parents.

3. Ann McGourley (Mary's mother) born about 1811 in Ireland. If I could find their marriage record I'm hoping it would have where in Ireland she was born and who her parents were.

4. John Curly & Bridget Conelly are the names I have as a possible parents for Thomas.

Roots Ireland www.rootsireland.ie has an 1814 baptismal record for a Thomas Curley or Curly, father john and mother Bridget. The record is in the Riverstown RC records.

Roots is a pay site to view the transcription of the church record..

I could not locate a baptismal record for Mary or the marriage record.
