Hello,
I am trying to learn more about my 3x Great Grandparents' family. Anthony Curley (born about 1819) married Nancy Durkin (b about 1821) and had 7 children that I know of. They left Sligo around 1849 for Lancashire, England. Anthony and Nancy died in Yorkshire. Their Son Thomas is my 2x Gr-Grandfather. I believe he did come to Massachusetts, USA around 1871, but I am not sure what became of Thomas. His wife and children did migrate to New England in 1887. We only knew from census returns in England that the family was from County Sligo. Fortunately for me, a great aunt of mine wrote down some basic family history information and noted that they Curleys were from Tobercurry.
I am interested to know more about any Curley (sometimes spelled Corley) family in the Tobercurry area - and if anyone elese out there is researching members of Anthony's family.
Sincerely,
Patrick

Hi Patrick,
Plan B: There are 2 Curleys in the Irish phone book in Tubbercurry, Sligo. It might be worth writing to them with your question if all else fails (www.eircomphone.ie/) - search Curley Tubbercurry, Sligo residential
I couldn't find a marriage of Anthony & Ellen or a baptism/birth for either Anthony or Nancy
The public member trees on ancestry have all the same information you have so no help there.
You may want to have a look at the Tithe Applotments which are free to search online;
there are 2 John Curley listed: 1833 & 1842 & there are 36 Durkins 1824-33. However, there are no Curleys and Durkins in the same parish!!
Maybe Plan B Patrick?
