I am trying to locate some Gaughran family burials, two of which are noted in their parish records as being in Slane. I live in California, but I was on the Hill of Slane this past month, and I noted the four Gaughran headstones towards the front of the burials there. I do not know whether my family are buried on the Hill of Slane.

Here are the details I have, and I hope you might be able to help me to know where else in Slane these listed family members might be interred. Merely "Slane" is noted in the parish records below. How could and where would members of these parishes be buried in Slane? Many thanks for your consideration,

Cathy Gaughran Hatcher

Welcome to Ireland Reaching Out! I hope you enjoyed your trip to Ireland!

Slane and Nobber are Civil Parishes. The corresponding Roman Catholic Parishes for Slane are Slane RC and Rathkenny RC; for Nobber it?s Nobber RC. The most direct way to get information about the graveyards in the local area is to contact the relevant parish offices. Unfortunately we don?t yet have a volunteer in either parish.
