Searchng for any information for Denis Power and Catherine Tuohey Power, my great grandparents, living at #4 Mulberry Lane, Mitchelstown at the time of the 1901 census. Also listed on that census were Bat Power 20, William Power 14, Catherine Power 12, Lizzie Power 10, and Denis Power age 8. My grandmother Annie had already left for the US, and Great Uncle Thomas was married to Annie Barrett Powers, and living elsewhere in Ireland. If any of this sounds familiar to anyone, I would love to hear from you.

Hello Elaine,
Thank you for all your help. I believe Catherine Tuohey was born in 1853, so a little before your search parameters. Her marraige to Denis Power was probably about 1875 and quite possibly in Tipperary. Great-Uncle Thomas Power lived in Tipperary with his wife Annie Barrett Power and oldest son Nicolas, before coming to America.
I will try FamilySearch.org and I also have an ancestry.com membership.
