I am researching my family history and have got back to John Michael Lavell born in 1790 in Templemore, Mayo. He married Bridget born about 1801/1804 who also was born in County Mayo. They had 4 children, Michael (b.1827) Mary, Patrick and Martin. Bridget and the 4 children were living in Liverpool on the 1851 census.
I would be interested in any additional information you may have.

Church records for Templemore parish start in the late 1800s. I did look at the 1833 Tithe Applotment listings for Templemore parish. There was only one Lavell/Lavelle record. A Thomas Lavelle in Cloonconlon townland. Possibly there was a connection between Thomas and John.
