Dawn:
The Griffiths Valuation survey was conducted in Co. Galway and Co. Mayo in 1856 and Co. Clare in 1855. The only two George Marlborough/Marlboro were these two and this presumes George was still alive in the mid-1850s.
Griffith Marlboro George Baunkyle Killinaboy Co. Clare Griffith Marlborough George Derry Beagh Co. Galway There were seven Andrew Moran's in Co. Mayo and again presuming Andrew was alive he could have been one of the seven listed below. As an aside, the captain of the Co. Mayo Gaelic football team is Andy Moran (pronounced more-an). Mayo lost to Dublin two Sundays ago to Dublin in the All-Ireland final. http://www.gaa.ie/gaa-news-and-videos/daily-news/1/1909130815-my-club-and-i-andy-moran/

Hello Dawn,
Not sure if you've already checked there...but on rootsireland.ie there were no matches for a birth or baptism of john moran with parents named andrew and hanna in any county of Ireland. I searched within a ten year window (the maximum allowed) of the year 1837 (10 years out on either end). But I myself have a few relations that don't show up either.
Same result when I searched for an Elizabeth Marlborough with a father named George within a ten year window of both 1830 and 1840 in all Irish counties. No matches. No good news....but at least it eliminates a website that has a subscription fee (trying a little optimism for you) :) If you have any variations in the parents names, dates or kids names...let me know. I have a subscription till the end of November 2014.
