Patrick Gibbons and Sarah Gill are my great-great-grandparents on my fathers side. They lived in Westport through the 1850s and 1860s on Shop Street and later on High Street; they ran both a grocery store and pub. All seven of their children were baptized in the Oughaval Parish: Mary Ellen (b. 1853), Thomas (b. 1855), Joseph (b. 1857), Michael (b. 1859), Agnes (b. 1861), Patrick (b. 1863), and James (b. 1865).
Patrick Gibbons died in 1866 at the age of 44, and his widow Sarah Gill Gibbons emigrated to New York City in 1870 with all seven children. When Sarah died in in New York in 1887, her death certificate listed her parents as Joseph Gill and E Regan (I beleave E stands for Eleanor). If her parents are Joseph and Eleanor (Regan) Gill, that would make her sister to Honoria Gill, mother of Captain John MacBride. But I cannot find any records for Sarah Gill prior to the baptisms of her children. Is there anywhere to look or does anyone know of records for her (baptism, marriage to Patrick, etc.) that might help me learn more about her prior to her coming to America?
Also, any information that anyone had about Patrick (Griffith Valuation, picture of grave stone, etc.) would be much appreciated.
Please let me know if anyone has information.

Welcome to Ireland Reaching Out!
Baptismal records for Oughaval RC parish start in 1845 and marriages start in 1831. I checked on Roots Ireland and was not able to find a marriage record for a Sarah Gill to Patrick Gibbons. Therefore, I assume the marriage took place in another parish that does not have records back to the early 1850s. Also did not find Sarah's baptismal record.

Patrick Gibbons was listed in the 1856 Griffiths Valuation head of household listing for Oughaval civil parish.

I don't think you will find a legible headstone for someone who died in 1866. Below are three different sites with information on Oughaval cemetery.
Let me know if you have any questions.
