I have been trying to find details of my family for years without success. Before moving to Lancashire their last known address was Altamount st, Westport. Family name was MOORE James and his wife's maiden name was also MOORE Anne/Nancy. Just posting on the off-chance someone else may be looking!

I think I may have same ancestors. My great grandparents x4 lived in altamount st before moving to Blackburn Lancashire ( where I was born). They lived in altamount street in 1851. Their son Patrick was my great grandfather x 3. I’m keen to know why they left (guessing potato famine?) but also what number they lived at and if the house is still there.
