Almost all of the RC parishes in Co. Leitrim do not have records back to 1825. I only see three parishes that have records back to 1825 and Inishmagrath (1835) is not one of them. Roots Ireland had an 1829 baptismal record for a James Dowd but his father was not Rodger.

Civil registration did not start until 1864.

Inishmagrath parish is part of the Manorhamilton registration district. I looked for a possible civil death index record for Mary Dowd. There was one record in 1868. I don't know if this is the same Mary from the 1857 Griffiths. You can get a copy of this record from the General Register Office for around 4 euros. Death records show the date and location of death, cause and the informants name and sometimes the relationship of the informant to the deceased. Let me know if you want instructions to get this record.
