I'm also looking for info on Bridget Haran. Her birth date is around 1900. She was born Bridget Loftus as far as I can tell. She married Michael/Mich Haran. I know of 5 children. Looks like they were all born in Behy, Kilmoremoy Parish, Ballina, Mayo, Ireland
Anthony (my 4th great grandfather - Born 1824 or 1826) He was one of the first pioneers to settle in Washington state at that time Washington Territory.
Jane (Born 1827) no idea if she was married or not
Ann (Born 1830) no idea if she was married or not
Elen (Born 1831) no idea if she was married or not
Seelia (Born 1834) no idea if she was married or not
I'm assuming Michael Haran must have died around 1834 but I can't find a death record.
It looks like she married Michael Gaugan in 1835.
I show they had at least 2 children.
Bridget Gaughan Born 1841
Patrick Gaughan Born 1857 (I highly doubt Patrick is Bridget's son due to her age)
I also show Bridget being married to Michel Loftus (Born 1796) with at least 1 child.
Margaret Loftus (Born 1846)
Any additional help would be greatly appreciated. I'd like to find out about Michael Haran's family (parents, siblings) and also Bridget's family. Thanks, Austin

Bridget Haran's birthdate was around 1800 not 1900 as I wrote above.

I did find this entry in the tithes record.
Name Jas Goughan

County Mayoand these on Griffiths valuation:

One of the many Michael GAUGHAN's b Co Mayo or Sligo married Catherine McGARRY and died in PA, USA. They had son Frank b Pittsburgh, Allegheny PA, who died 1880, age 44, following an train accident. Could MCGARRY be the MCGEE/MCGAHY you are looking for? Also, remember border between Mayo & Sligo was moved, leading to some confusion about county of birth within families, so always check both. The border originally ran right down the middle of Ballina.
Even if this is a different Michael, it may be indicative of additional GAUGHAN-MCGARRY marriages. MCGARRY may also be GERAGHTY.
There were marriages of GAUGHANs in or from Kilmoremoy and Backs/Knockmore to QUINN, LYONS, GREEHAN/GREHAN, MEER/MEARS, MELODY, CONLON, TIMLIN, MCHALE, HUGHES. Another group emigrated to Lancashire, England.
