Hello, I have been posting on a few boards to try and resolve my GG grandparents area of birth and their family lines. They are Bridget Brogan who married John Moran sometime in the early to mid 1800s. Their son, my g grandfather was James Moran born abt 1843. He immigrated to Dunmore PA in the early 1860s. His death certificate lists his parents as John Moran and Bridget Brogan. I think our Moran line is from the Westport area, but that may just have been where they immigrated from.
Any records on marriage of Brogan/Moran or on James's birth or his parents birth or death would be greatly appreciated. We are coming for a short trip to Ireland in September and would love to narrow down the area. Thanks!
