I am researching a Nally family. I believe Thomas Nally was born 21 May 1861 and baptised 23 May 1861 I think his father was Richard Nally, not sure who his mother was.
Can anyone help?

Hi, I looked in the 1901 census and saw a Richard, he was a widower.
I hope this is the correct family as you didn't say if Thomas left Ireland or had any other family.

his daughter is married to a chap called Patrick Reany. You will see Richards signature on the actual return document.
From ths info I got Bridget the daughters birth record, Mother Bridget Mullanny, then got Bridgets marriage to Patrick Reany.

The Civil records came in 1864 so sorry but it's Parish records before then.
This is the Parish Book, you are lucky as they start in 1821.

Just Highlight, ctrl c the link into a search engine then ctrl v and enter, you will see the documents.
Now to Thomas, did he leave Ireland, did he marry?

Graham:
In addition to the information that Margot provided, below is the Roots Ireland transcription of the baptism. I checked the parish register and the register shows Mullahy for the maiden name. The townland would be Gortnaraha as shown on the 1901 census. I also provide a link to the correct page on the register (hopefully). Richard Nally died in 1910. See link below. Don't have an exact year for bridget's death but likely before 1891 when images start for death records.

Good morning Margot and Roger
Thank you both for your very helpful replies. Thomas Nally (b1861) come to England (date unknown as present). He married in 1901 in Salford Lancashire to a Mary Ann Jefferies. He died in 1948 in Manchester.
Regarding the age of his sister Bridget Nally b 31 August 1866. When she marries in Feb 1899 she gives an age of 27 (therefore born c1872). On the 1901 census she is 33 (therefore born c1868). Is there a death for a Bridget Reaney you might find?
Once again thank you for your help
