Sean:
Welcome to Ireland Reaching Out!
Thanks for posting your research into the Breheny family of Fauleens. My McDonnells come from Derrynanaff townland which as you know is across the local N5 road about 5.5 kilometers to the northeast.
I assume that Seamus Bermingham has seen this history? I will have the link posted to the Kilbeagh parish page. Thanks!

Sean,
The descendants of Patrick Joseph Breheny, his sister Mary Breheny Towey, and his brother Dominic Breheny greatly appreciate your research and post. Because of you, many of my cousins and family members in Iowa as well as my family in California now know where Patrick (my great grandfather) was born and raised. We have shared the information with the descendants of 2 of the daughters of Mary Breheny Towey who immigrated to Iowa shortly after Patrick settled there. His brother Dominic Breheny also settled in Iowa and we have shared your information with his family.
On 22 September 2017, my sister and I will visit with Breheny descendants you introduced to me via email in Charlestown. We will be in the area for a week. I welcome suggestions as to local sites we might visit in Currinah and Fauleens.
I began searching for my great grandfather's roots 25 years ago, and thanks to you I will be visiting where he was born and raised. See you soon when we meet up in the Manchaster area. Gloria Smith Anderson

Please let me also add my thanks here to Sean Breheny and to those at IrelandXO for advancing our search for Patrick's native place, Roger McDonnell, Clare Doyle, Jane Halloran Ryan, and Laura Colleran, and thank you all for the work you do here that gives us this forum to share our ancestors. I would also like to name my brother Lawrence, now deceased and Wilma "Betty" Smith, wife of another cousin, J. William "Bill" Smith. Betty and Larry did much of the genealogy research that got us to this place today. Thank you, Gloria for making the connection with Jane that led to moving the Kilbeagh page to Roscommon. A Breheny Cousin in Iowa, Margaret Smalley Burch
