I am looking for members of my grandfather's family. He was born in Mayo in August of 1867. Glenadagh, Killala, Ballycastle. His mother was Bridget Judge and his father was Patrick McAndrew. He had two sisters (that I know of): Bridget, born 1865, Elizabeth, born 1875. Brother John born 1870.
He came to America in the mid 1890's and married Sarah Black in 1898 in Massachusetts.
Family story says he was filled with sadness thinking that he had spread an infectious disease to his brother, causing his death, and so left for America.
Any help finding family in Mayo?

Looks to be the family in 1901, in Glenedagh Eighter. William's sister Elizabeth looks to have married a McGuire:

Richard (1808-11 Nov 1886) and Anthony McAndrew (and many more) are buried in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Andover, Allegany County, New York. (Records free on findagrave.com) I attach legal notice of Richard's death that appeared in the Wellsville Allegany Democrat newspaper 7 Jan 1890. I suspect/hope that Richard may have had a brother, Terence (b. circa 1808), who lived in Oswego, New York and appears in the 1850 (US) and 1855 (NY) censuses. I think Terence and his wife Mary immigrated to the US through Canada c. 1843. I believe his daughter, Mary McAndrew (b. 1845), married John FitzPatrick and spent most of their lives in Penn Yan, Yates Co., New York. They are my g/g/grandparents.
