Hello, this is an image of a headstone in Dunmore, PA - it is for Sarah and Mary Ann Brogan. I have a Bridget Brogan married to a John Moran and their children (James, Bridget, Patrick, Peter, and Cormick Moran) ended up in Dunmore, PA about 1865. I am trying to locate their origins in Mayo - I am going to try to take a rubbing of this headstone tomorrow but wondering if anyone there can deciper the town name that is written between Sarah's name and Crossmolina.

Hello again Victoria!
I can't read the place name. I looked at the 1855 Griffiths for Crossmolina and there were Brogans in Polladoohy and Tobermore. I know this is after your family left but possibly other family stayed behind. Let us know.
