In his book Mayo's Lost islands, Brian Dornan wrote that "James Meenaghan had left the record by 1850.
I haven't had a chance to read the book yet but will as soon I can.
Are there any clues as to what happened to James? Did he go to the mainland, would appreciate your thoughts or guesses.
It's the 86th.Anniversary of the "Drownings."
Cheers
