My grandfather's grandfather was Michael Byrne, born 15 September 1814 in Castlebar, Mayo. He immigrated to what is now Woodslee, Ontario Canada and many of his ancestors live there now. I have their information as many of them were buried in the same cemetery, St. John the Evangelist Parish in Woodslee, Ontario. Is there any way to find records of Michael in Ireland?

RC baptismal records for Castlebar do not start until 1838 so no record of his baptism would be available. I assume you don't have records of siblings or parents.
