I looked for birth index records in the Castlebar registration district. There were no Anne Gillens (or variants) in 1874. The closest was this record in 1868. If she married John McGuire around 1890 then an 1868 birth makes mores sense compared to 1874. If you want to get a copy of this record, you need to contact the GRO www.groireland.ie  fill out their form and provide the year of birth, registration district ( Castlebar) and the volume and page number ( 9 and 149). A copy costs around 4 euros.

By the way, I don't know if you have access to Ancestry but there is a Jane Olson who has a family tree posted that includes Anne and John McGuire.
