My Great, Great Grandparents, Hanora DOLAN & Michael McGOUGH (McGOFF) were married in Castlebar, County Mayo on March 12, 1841 and had a daughter, Mary, in June of 1842. It appears they immigrated to Canada in 1843 but I do not know how or exactly when or if they were accompanied by other family members. If anyone is able to help me with this Ireland (County Mayo) family connection to Canada (Pontiac County, Quebec), it would be most appreciated. I have a large family tree that starts with this marriage and immigration.

We received a trmendous number of messages right before Christmas and many did not get a response for which we apologize. We are now conducting a cleanup operation.
I searched Roots Ireland for the marriage and baptismal record and got no record even though the Castlebar RC records are on their data base. Here is a link to the parish register in case you would want to have a look.
