I'm trying to track any details regarding a Susan Savage who died in Galway regional hospital but lived at 'The Lodge, Derrydevagh, Newport' in July 1987.
I found her headstone in Burrishoole graveyard and it notes 'Newport & Dublin'.
She may have been born Susan Lambert in 1912 in Dublin - I'm helping someone related to that family who wants to know what happened to her. The age on the death cert matches. This woman was a midwife/nurse.
Would appreciate some guidance - would anyone have any local historian contacts?

On the free site www.irishgenealogy.ie I found a 1936 marriage record for Susan Lambert and Charles Savage. You may already have this record.
We do have a volunteer in Burrishoole parish but I'd like more clarity regarding what you are looking for. Does the death certificate show the cause of death?

We moved to a new systems platform for our website and we had numerous problems with the conversion. One major problem was that notifications of comments were not being delivered in most cases. Sorry for the inconvenience.
