Here is what I found in my copy of the Bekan records "14 Aug 1840 Catherine of John Higgins and Mary Duffy sp Luke MacGarry and Margaret MacGarry" I colud nit find the brothers. There are Higgins family near Bekan but in the Parish of Knock.
