Hi, I hope someone can help.
My great great grandmother is Catherine (kitty) Fitzmaurice Gilmore, born about 1849. She was lived in Aghamore, Ballyhaunis, County Mayo. I can find death certificates and notices for her children, but no birth certificate for her.
She married John Gilmore of Cappagh in 1859.
She was aunt to Mary Ellen Fitzmaurice Gilmore (interestingly, my great grandmother) whose parents were Timothy Fitzmaurice and Maria Lyons. I figured that Timothy must be brother to Catherine since Mary Ellen is Catheine's niece, but I can still find no strong evidence to support that.
I'm going to be in Ireland in July and would love to be able to look around for them and see the Fitzmaurice places.
Thanks so much for any help you can offer. I look forward to hearing from you.

Hi Shannon!
If you have not done so already, could you fill out this form regarding your Ireland trip https://www.irelandxo.com/meet-and-greet
Civil registration of births started in 1864 so before 1864 available church records are the only source we have. The subscription site Roots Ireland only has Bekan RC baptismal records starting in 1851. However, you may want to look at the parish register maintained by the National Library of Ireland https://registers.nli.ie/parishes/1050 where records go back to 1832 but the quality of the records is not good. Catherine was likely baptized around 1839 if she married in 1859.

Shannon:
I went to a different subscription site (FindMyPast.ie) and found two possible leads in Bekan RC parish
Catherine Fitzmorris baptized December 26 1835 father Thomas Fitzmorris and mother Mary Fitzmorris (possibly her maiden name was Fitzmorris).
Catharine Fitzmorris baptized November 18 1832 father Pat Fitzmorris mother Mary Narrey.
