My great grandmother Bridget (Biddy) McDonough came to Australia in 1850 as an Earl Grey Scheme Irish Orphan. According to shipping records her father Michael was dead but her mother Mary was still alive in Ballinrobe. She married, had eleven children. She died in Queensland in 1915. I would very much appreciate any assistance in locating any further information. I have been unable to locate any workhouse records for Ballinrobe or death or burial for Mary and Michael.
