Hi
I'm tracing my Kiernan ancestors - Thomas Kiernan, born August 1788 in Granard, County Longford. His parents are John Kiernan & Elizabeth Monaghan. I don't know who Thomas married, but I have 4 of his children born in Castleton, Castlepollard, County Westmeath, so I guess his wife may have been from here? The children are Anne (b.1820), Mary (b.1826), John (b.1830) and Thomas (b.1832). Thomas snr, his wife and these 4 children emigrated to South Australia in 1840 and I have records once they arrived here, but I'm trying to trace back to their life in Ireland. I would also love to know Thomas snr's wife's name and where/when they were married. Thanks for any help you may provide.
Kind regards, Jenny Mangan, South Australia

Hello Kevin
Thank you for replying to my query.
I would love to contact Michael Conlon - are you able to supply an email address for him, as I live in South Australia and it would be easier to email him than phone him. If not, his address & phone number would be great.
Thanks again for your help.

Hi. know this is an old post . But I was wondering if Kevin Brady still had the information from Michael Conlon concerning Thomas Kiernan
"I'm tracing my Kiernan ancestors - Thomas Kiernan, born August 1788 in Granard, County Longford. His parents are John Kiernan & Elizabeth Monaghan. I don't who Thomas married, but I have 4 of his children born in Castleton, Castlepollard, County Westmeath, so I guess his wife may have been from here? Hello Linda,
I didn't get the info requested, so not sure if it's still available.
I wrote the original query - do you have info about my Kiernan family?
Also, I've changed my email address from the one listed above, which is no longer in use.
Regards, Jenny

Hi Jenny. Nice to hear from you. How are you! I was hoping that Kevin Brady( who was meant to send you the info) would read this. I have continued to add to information to my files-but only from when they arrived in Australia.
