Searching for information on my g-grandfather, Patrick Mulvihill b. about 1837-1839 in Longford County, Ireland. Emmigrated to Philadelpha, Pennsylvania, USA at an early age. It is said that his Grandmother, possibly named Daley, brought him to the USA to live with an uncle. He is said to have been a famine orphan. Any information appreciated!

I searched on Roots Ireland for Patrick Mulvihill baptismal records from 1836-1840 in Newtowncashel RC church. Four records came up: two in 1836, one in 1837 and one in 1840. I entered Daly/Daley for the mother's surname but none had that name. Here is a link to the parish register http://registers.nli.ie/parishes/0153 Can I suggest that you review the parish register for the four records and see if you think any of the four could be your ancestor.
