I am researching my Ancestor, Samuel Alexander, believed to have been born in Limerick, Ireland around 1797.  He migrated to the US sometime before 1840.  Any help is appreciated.  Thank you

  • Hi Leslea,

The only record for Samuel Alexander born 1797 + -  2 years on www.rootsireland.ie is a baptism 1797 in Wicklow. There were none in Limerick.

If you think this could be your man you can purchase it on rootsireland. It will give the parish they were from and his parents' names.
