My family has been searching for records for a number of years for our ancestor Sabina Morris.
It seems she was born in Limerick around 1811, married in Dublin in 1836 to Mathew Nolan (Nowlan) a stonemason.
She migrated to Australia in 1841 with Mathew and their son Joseph. She died in Australia in 1880 - on her death certificate her 2nd son James stated that she was born in Limerick.
We would love to find out which parish she was from in Limerick, but have been unable to find a baptism record when we searched Catholic Parish registers. Perhaps 1811 is too early.
Can anyone suggest how we might work out which parish she was from?

Hi, In the Victoria, Australia, Assisted and Unassisted Passenger Lists, 1839-1923 on Ancestry, the passenger manifest states that the native place of Matthew, Sabina, and Joseph was DUBLIN.
I hope this is helpful.

PM, the ship record has a Thomas and a Margaret Nolan just above Mathew's name. Is he Mathew's brother?
They were from County TipperaryMargot
