Hi,

Bridget married a Morgan Edmund in 1881 in New South Wales at their local Registry Office, with the certificate showing they were spinster and widower respectively. However, Morgan and Bridget had previously lived in or near Ballarat, Victoria for many years and had two boys in the mid 1860's while there. It would appear they were not formally married at that time. Morgan emigrated from England in 1857; do not know the circumstance or time of Bridget's arrival in Australia. It would appear likely they both first arrived in Australia at Melbourne, Victoria.
