  • I had no luck in finding any of the above sir but i have had a list of websites that you mite want to have a seach on. You mite get luckly in your seach good luck.

The National Archives of Irelandhttp://www.nationalarchives.ie/genealogy1/genealogy-records/introduction/ The National Library of Irelandhttp://www.nli.ie/en/family-history-introduction.aspx The National Archives UK ? genealogy search:http://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/records/looking-for-person/ Irish Newspaper Archives:http://www.irishnewsarchive.com/ The next thing you could do is find the counties and places in Ireland your family names are mostprevalent. Look at the website http://www.irishtimes.com/ancestor/surname/ and perhapssomething will match some other clue you may have found elsewhere? If nothing turnsup ? it is advisable to try different variations of the spellings of the names. If you have a possiblefirst name you could try the Irish Census 1901, 1911 at www.census.nationalarchives.ie/ or the landvaluation record called Griffiths Valuationhttp://askaboutireland.ie/griffith-valuation/index.xml

    The Brisbane Courier (Qld. : 1864 - 1933) Monday 25 august 1930
    FUNERAL NOTICE
SYNNOTT - the friends of mr James Synnott and family of Gaythorne are respectfully invited to attend the funeral of his beloved wife and their mother, Mrs J Synnott, to move from the Funeral Parlour of Foley Cremin Lts Stanley Street South Brisbane, this Monday afternoon at 1 oclock to the Toowong Cemetery.

Marriage record for James and Catherine appears to have Catherine under the surname GILLINGS, however both parties made their marks, rather than signing, so could have been an error in recording (either that, or the later use of GETHINGS is the error).
