I have just finished etiting a composite of journals and letters by Philip and Sarah (Rowles) Ryan of Belle Creek in Goodhue County, Minnesota, written to their children during a journey to Ireland over Christmas 1912 which they combined with many visits relatives in the eastern United States and Canada on their return journey.
Philip Joseph Ryan was from Pallasgreen and came to America as a young man of 21 years in 1879. Sarah was born in Waupun, Wisconsin, to parents who were born in Doon. They later settled in Belle Creek, Goodhue County, Minnesota, where Philip met and married Sarah. Whether Philip knew Sarah's family before he came to America is unknown but likely, since so many other Doon and Pallasgreen people settled in the same community.
I have identified many of the relationships of their relatives and added footnotes and an appendix showing the family trees as far as I have been able to prove them. It is also illustrated so it comes to about 50 pages. It think this would be helpful to family historians, and would like to post it to the Files area if such a large document is welcome. It is less than 4 MB according to WORD.
Please advise me. If an administrator would like to review it first, contact me at annl7777@aol.com.

I should have noted my reason. Sorry. My Ryan relatives left Doon (Cappamore) around 1840. It is unknown if they knew each other in Ireland or met in the U.S. They settled in Marquette County Michigan, which is not the same as Minnesota, but the experience would be more simlar than someone who stelled in New York.
