Hi from Australia.
The only information I have on this family is the following.
My 3x Great Grandmother was Elizabeth 'aka Betty, Lizzie etc' Nolan born 4th June 1840 to parents William Nolan & Kitty 'Catherine' Gorman. Sponsers were James Nolan & Kitty Hurley.
Elizabeth married David Fitzgerald in Doon 14 Feb 1863 (I have the details downward from there of BDM etc) They had their chidlren in Murroe Boher/Turagh
Elizabeth Fitzgerald Died 13 Nov 1899 Cappamore.
I have no more on William Nolan & Kitty Gorman (Cashel & Emly state there was no marriage in Doon) I have searched but as so many names are the same and not knowing the area, it was hard to go back any further than this.
William & Kitty other chidlren were
Mary b 12 May 1834 Toomaline, sponsors Toby Butler & Kitty Hurley
William b 25 Feb 1838 Toomaline, sponsors James Nolan & Mary Cormack
Julia b 27 Oct 1842 Toomaline, sponsors Michael Nolan & Mary Ryan
Honoria b 12 Apr 1845 Toomaline, sponsors Thomas Quirke & Mary Butler
Patrick b 8 Mar 1849 Toomaline sponsors Phillip Ryan & Mary Ryan
On the 1850 Griffith Valuation there was a WIlliam Nowlan at Upper Toomaline renting of Landlord Patrick Kilbridge Esq, and other Nowlans near by....I do not know if they are from my line and how would I find out?
Other than that I presume the line stops here. Thoughts.
I would appreciate any leads or other family connections. Thank you
Kind regards
Karen Ryan

Hi Karen, Catholic church record's for the parish of Doon, which is in the diocese of Cashel and Emly started baptisms 1824, marriages 1839. For Morroe and Abington baptisms 1814. Marriages 1815. Also in Diocese of Cashel and Emly.
Both parishes near each other both in Co Limerick. Nolan seem,s to be a scarce name in the Area.
I found a John Nolan in Doon south aged 40 with his uncle Parish Priest Fr John Shelley both born in Co Tipperary in the 1901 census. Plenty Gorman,s in the area mostly in Cappamore.
Headstone inscriptions for Abington Morroe on Tipperary Studies Digitisation Project. Headstones for St Fintans graveyard Doon on historicgraves.i.e..
Could not find death cert Elizabeth Fitzgerald on Irishgenealogy.
Do you have DNA done..
Let me know if you have any queries.
