Hi to all,
I'm Michael (Mick) Ryan (born 1947, Pittsburgh, PA. US), son of Michael J. Ryan ( born Pittsburgh PA,US 1918). My grand parents were Patrick J ( born about 1881, Doon, Glengar,Died 1968 and Margaret M (Hackett, born Offly?, died 1957). Grandfather Patrick and his brother Roger ( died Doon, Glengar 1972) were sons of my great grand parents of Doon, Glengar, Edmond (died, Glengar, Doon 1920) and Mary (White) Ryan ( Died Glengar,Doon, 1936.) I have a US cousin , Elaine, living in Pittsburgh, PA who visited some cousin 20 years ago...
Hopefully I have giving enough background information to find my Ryan cousins still in the Doon area.
I will be traveling in Ireland for about four days at the end of July 2013 and would like to meet some of my long lost cousins. I have dual US/Ireland citizenship and I am looking forward to using my Irish passport on my first trip to Ireland.
