I am interested in finding out more information on the paternal side of my family. My ancestor James Mulcair emigrated to Australia in the 1880's. I have a good summary of his life and family here in Australia but not before. His Mother was Johanna Hayes and Father Eugene (or Owen) Mulcare.

Rootsireland has a record of Eugene Mulcair marrying Johanna Hayes in Co Limerick in 1862. (Pay to view to get any additional details).
Searching for baptisms to that couple produced 9 in Croagh parish, spanning 1862 to 1885. (James isn?t one of them though).

They had a lot of children.
