Hi, i am researching my maternal grandmother Emily Stewart,who in the 1901 and 1911 census was classed as a boarder resideing with a Jane Patterson and family in Erganagh Glebe, Mountyoy Forest East, Also boarding at the same time was a James Gordan and a Mary Jane McMullan.Emily married John Scott in 1918 in cappagh church of ireland.any information would be fantastic thks

You should be able to find records relating to Emily in civil records. These are available from the General Register?s Office in Dublin. Here is their website:

You could also look at church records in the area for information. Most Catholic records are held locally so you may need to write to the local parish priest for possible assistance. One website that you may find useful is the Irish Times where they give an overview of what records are available in specific parishes. It also shows you where copies of the records are available.
