Looking for any information on the above. They married in Bulgaden in Nov 1825. They had two children Honora b. Oct. 1826 and John b. Jul 1832. Michael Fraher is entered in marriage record as being "vagus", a vagrant. He may have been a journeyman tailor. One of the the witnesses was a Modustus Fraher. The other witnesses were Edmund Cooke and John Cooke. Bridget Cooke was a native of Bulgaden. Any information would be appreciated. Thanking you, John Fraher.

Welcome to Ireland Reaching Out and apologies for the long delay in getting back to you.

I'm afraid I haven't been able to learn any more other than to confirm the above marriage and baptisms on rootsireland.ie. Have you had a look on Find My Past to see if Michael is listed in any of their trade directories? Records for the parish begin in 1812 so that is likely too late in terms of locating a baptism for either Michael or Bridget.

In the meantime, I wanted to invite you to add your ancestor's details to our XO Chronicles. You can learn more about it HERE and it might be another avenue to consider so that your ancestor's details can be seen by others.

    Best wishes
