Looking for information on John O'Day (O'Dea), born January or June 1839, married Margaret M. (born June 1847).  Both emigrated to America in 1860. His military records indicate that he was from Bruff, Limerick.  In America, he lived in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and had children John M. (May 1873), Mary A (Feb 1873), Elizabeth (November 1881), and Martin (Jan 1885).  He worked as a mortar mixer and brick layer.  His wife Margaret died between 1900 and 1910.
