Na Deise Vikings arrive and setup thier impressive Base Camp in Hayes Field and will be Patrolling the village on Saturday afternoon.

12.00pm and 4.00pm: St. Molua's Well.
Tree Planting at St. Molua’s Well to commemorate Jim Quin and Paddy Flanagan the finders of the Ardagh Chalice Hoard.

Greaneys, Hayes and Ambroses Olde Shop all open for business including a St Kieran’s Heritage Stall with various Ardagh Chalice 150 Merchandise

Photos with Viking and Celt costumes, masks, spears and shields - €5 per picture
3.00pm: Rerasta Fort.

7.00pm Gates open and 7.30pm Start: The Parish Field (Ardagh)
THE LAST DRUID.
The last Druid by Paul Moriarty takes place in the parish field. It is an outdoor drama featuring Aengus; the last Druid in Munster. It describes how a a very special Chalice, a Goblet, the Brooches of Four Suns and Irelands Largest Hill Fort became central to his life. Told in two acts it describes the disappearance and rediscovery of our country’s most iconic treasure. It includes an original score of rhytme, song and dance as well as songs with permission from Loreena McKennitt and Shaun Davey.
