I am looking for Ancestors of John Halpin Born in Ireland 1935 married Mary Ann Normalie immigrated to New Zealand with 6 children. Mary Ann died on board ship just before landing in Napier NZ after givng birth to a stillborn baby.

John Halpin was my Great Grandfather , my Grandfather was also named John Halpin born in Adare

Limerick Ireland 1869. He married my Grandmother Rebecca Matherson in New Zealand.

    Roots Ireland www.rootsireland.ie has an 1835 baptismal record for a John Halpin in Co. Limerick. I know the record is not in Adare but I did not go thru every parish to see where the record was housed.

    Roots is a pay site to view the transcription of the Church record.

    If your family was in Adare consistently then this is likely another John Halpin.

    Sorry my mistake John Halpin was born in Adare 1835 not 1935 as I said.
