Seeking to find the civil parish name, For Johnstown and Ballycaddihy,County Kilkenny. I have the hand-written baptismal certificates of Dan Carroll and Mary Dolan's (Dowling) children, from St Kieran,Diocese of Ossory, Parish of Johnstown.But have no information of Dan & Mary Carroll,Birth about 1810, or if any children stayed in Johnstown. the town of Johnstown, Co. Kilkenny is located in Fertagh civil parish. There's a townland named Ballycuddihy in the same civil pairh. (there's a 2nd townland named Ballycuddihy in Tullaroan civil parish)
Catholic Records for the parish of Johnstown go back to about 1815 for baptisms and it seems only about 1850 for marriages - see : Johnstown RC parish Kilkenny (Irish Times/John Grenham)

Thanks, your tip led me to, Griffins Valuation. Where i was able to find Daniel Carroll as a tenant,in Ballycuddihy.
